Drain Doctor Oxford were delightfully contacted by the C.S. Lewis Foundation concerning an emergency drainage issue they were encountering at The Kilns Residence in Headington, Oxford. The Kilns was once the former home of the famous world renown author C.S. Lewis, who’s works include The Chronicles of Narnia and the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The foundation has the intention to honour the memory of C.S Lewis by encouraging its continued use as a quiet place of study for those with a passion for writing, therefore they were in desperate need of our attendance.

We instantly sent one of our extremely experienced and qualified technicians who quickly identified the drainage matter and took to work immediately to resolve the emergency issue. Following the blockage clearance, he made sure to follow up with a look-see CCTV survey to ensure the drainage was left clear and free flowing. The Foundation were extremely happy with our work, which meant they didn’t have any fears or doubts about having to close the premises.

As mentioned previously, The Kilns is not only a place of quiet study, but also holds scheduled tours to the general public in the interest of ensuring a quality study experience. Please kindly visit their website for further information.
